In the time and season for Jesus to be glorified, He spoke of Himself as the seed of the corn of wheat that must fall into the ground and die, if it is to bring forth much fruit (John 12:24). Jesus was speaking of His life’s time and season had come for Him to die for the sin of the world of sinners to bring a fruitful harvest of mankind back to God. Jesus Christ is our example and He asked those who believed in Him as born-again believers to continue or abide in His Word as His disciples (John 8:31-32).
