The eyes of faith see the vision and walk in the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Those who walk by faith and not by sight have eyes of faith to see the vision God has for their lives. The eyes of faith see the path of faith’s race in the life-long learning cycle process of soul’s sanctification in the Word of God by the work of the Holy Spirit. Born-again believers in Christ Jesus are the just, and the just shall live by faith. We walk by faith in the Spirit of life, and the Holy Spirit manifests the fruitful works of the vision of the Word of God in our lives. It is by faith that we please God. But without faith it is impossible to please him (Hebrews 11:6). Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. We must look to Jesus as the focus of our faith because He fulfilled God’s will, purpose, and vision for His life. While we run this race of faith, we must lay aside every weight, putting off entangling sin, and run with patience, endurance, and persistence until we get to the finish line (Hebrews 12:1-2).  Genuine faith perseveres to the end, and daily manifests the fruitful works of the faith in the vision God has for each born-again believer. The great list of the faith heroes in Hebrews 11 teaches that it was by faith that each one of God’s people fulfilled His will, purpose, and vision for his or her life (Hebrews 11:39).
The purpose of this book is to share the importance of faith in Jesus Christ and the finished work of the Cross. We are saved by grace through faith. We live the abundant life of salvation by grace through faith. If we are doing anything that is not in faith of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the finished work of the Cross, then it is sin (Romans 14:23). It is through faith that we please God (Hebrews 11:6). God’s hall of faith (Hebrews 11) identifies many Old Testament saints who saw the vision through the eyes of faith and fulfilled God’s vision for their lives.
God has a vision of His eternal will and purpose for our lives.  Through the spiritual mind of the eyes of faith in Christ Jesus, we see the spiritual truth of God’s Word by the work of the Holy Spirit. Through faith in God’s Word, the Holy Spirit opens the eyes of our mind’s understanding to see God’s plan for us. Let us as New Testament disciples join the list of the hall of faith; so we may experience God’s blessings in the fullness of salvation by fulfilling God’s will, purpose, and vision for our lives in the Great Commission of the Christian Church (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Luke 24:46-49).  The greatest enemy to the spiritual mind of the eyes of faith is the carnal mind of the eyes of fear and unbelief.
